8 SEASONS OF ART

This film is a groundbreaking story of the melanated arts community in Minnesota. Director Phillip McGraw follows the story of painters, musicians, poets, writers, and storytellers all sharing their story in how their art responds to the conditions of society. This documentary will demonstrate how art is consciousness. This is the 8 Seasons of Art.

FOR JUSTICE FORGOTTEN

The story trauma and police violence

This documentary is a case of abuse of power and failure from the justice system. In 2015, Jamar Clark was shot and killed by Minneapolis police in 61 seconds after they arrived on the scene. In 2019, the story continues on the 3rd vigil on the night Jamar Clark was killed. The Minneapolis North Side community cannot move forward. One community resident ask "how do you hold police accountable?". Director Phil Prospers shares his story of trauma created by police violence around the nation. He takes viewers on his journey on recovery and understanding solutions to end police violence. This is For Justice Forgotten.

An artist once told me, "never forget the community you represent. Define success by the stories you share with the people you love and the lives illuminated by the art you create."
